Merced River near Bridalveil Meadow

Eastbound on Southside Drive, Bridalveil Meadow is the first open area on your left after Fern Spring. Park in the unpaved clearing on the right (there's a John Muir monument here) and cross the road to the meadow. Once you’re in the meadow you’re on your own in the maze of trails—the river is a few hundred yards in front of you, and the location for this picture is just beyond the grove of trees on your left. Remember, meadows are fragile, so please try not to blaze new trails.
