What makes these workshops special?
I love what I do. And unlike many photographers for whom Yosemite is just one workshop subject among many, I am very much a California and Yosemite specialist. And unlike many photo workshops, you'll be dealing with me, personally, from beginning to end. I'll respond to your inquiry, answer all your questions, help you prepare, and (with help from a qualified assistant) lead your workshop myself.
To
see my qualifications, first visit my blog and look at my images. If you don’t like
what you see, read no further. If you do like my work, you may not even
care that my photography is featured in books, magazines, art galleries, and
private collections, and on calendars and greeting cards. Of more
significance may be that I’m a California native, a frequent Yosemite
visitor for over 40 years, and a Yosemite photographer for nearly 30
years. I have photographed Yosemite in all seasons, day and night, sun
and rain and snow, close-up and wide angle. I'm an experienced and
enthusiastic trainer who loves photographing nature as much as you do. I also love showing others what makes Yosemite the most beautiful place on earth.
I'll do whatever I can to help you get great images and to make you a better photographer. You'll also have a great time.
