Photograph Yosemite

Spring in Yosemite

April 28-May 1, 2011

Crescent Moon and Dogwood

Treat yourself to unique views of Yosemite at its saturated best. In this workshop we'll get up-close and personal with waterfalls (bring your rain gear), find rainbows galore, and photograph blooming dogwood. And of course we'll have plenty of time to photograph all of Yosemite's "classic" views as well: El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite and Bridalveil Falls are all spectacular in spring.

Starting at sunrise and going through sunset, each day we’ll visit several carefully selected locations in the best possible light, taking our time exploring and photographing. (Believe it or not, I know places in Yosemite Valley where you and your camera can spend hours without encountering another person.) We'll also photograph a crescent moon rising above Half Dome at sunrise and do at least one night of star trail photography. Each day will include midday training and image review. And we may even find a little time to rest. Don't miss this opportunity to see Yosemite through the eyes of someone who has photographed it for over 30 years.
