Winter in Yosemite

Snow and Horsetail Fall

With clearing storms that give way to a blanket of white, nothing is quite so magnificent as Yosemite Valley in winter. My Winter in Yosemite photo workshop is timed to maximize your chance of finding Yosemite wearing its winter best.

Of course Yosemite in February also means Horsetail Fall; I promise to give you ample opportunity to capture this ephemeral wonder, as well as all the other incredible sights (including my favorite less known photo locations) that make Yosemite so special. Weather permitting, we'll also photograph a full moon rising above Yosemite Valley, and do at least one night of moonlight photography. And when we're not photographing, we'll find time for training and image review. This workshop is for you if you like the idea of four photography-packed days in one of the world's most beautiful locations.
